When I was younger, I used to help my parents grow tomatoes and cucumbers in the garden. We also had some strawberries, which I enjoyed picking in the summer. Gardening wasn’t really my thing, but I liked seeing the results. It felt good to eat something we had grown ourselves.
When I was younger, I didn’t have a garden, so I just grew a cactus on the windowsill. It was very easy because it didn’t need much care. Later, I also had an aloe vera plant, which my mother used for small cuts. It felt nice to have some greenery at home.
As a child, I loved growing flowers like sunflowers and roses. My grandmother also showed me how to plant herbs such as parsley and dill. I enjoyed watering them every day and watching them grow. It gave me a feeling of responsibility and joy.
As a child, I grew some violets and geraniums on the balcony. I liked watering them and seeing the flowers open in spring. They made our home look brighter and more colorful. Even though I didn’t grow vegetables, I still enjoyed having plants around me.
When I was younger, I had a small pot with mint and basil on the balcony. I didn’t really take care of them perfectly, but they still grew. It was fun to smell the fresh leaves and sometimes add them to tea. That was my little connection to nature.
When I was younger, I planted beans in a cup for a school project. I was surprised how fast they grew. At home, I also had a small mint plant in a pot. I used to smell it all the time because it was so fresh.
