- • I wouldn’t say I have ever had an experience where I did something well because I:
-
•
often feel I could have done better -
•
rarely give myself credit for what I’ve achieved -
•
usually downplay my achievements -
•
haven’t reached the goals I set for myself -
•
sometimes give up before finishing a task -
•
often feel nervous or unsure of myself -
•
haven’t felt fully confident doing anything yet -
•
think there is always room for improvement -
•
sometimes try things, but they don’t turn out as expected -
•
sometimes try things, but the results aren’t exactly what I hoped -
•
feel I’m still learning and improving -
•
haven’t felt a real sense of achievement so far
Of, course, I have. For example, I’m really proud that I have given a presentation about climate change at school. I prepared carefully and practised several times before presenting. My classmates and teacher said it was very clear and interesting. I felt really happy because everything went well.
Definitely, yes. I’m proud that I have completed a 5-kilometre run for a charity event, for instance. At first, it was very hard, but I trained for a few weeks. Crossing the finish line gave me a great sense of achievement. It felt amazing to do something that also helped other people.
Unfortunately, I haven’t. I can’t say that I’m proud of something so far because I often feel I could have done better. Sometimes I try things, but the results aren’t exactly what I hoped. I also tend to underestimate my own achievements. I feel that I’m still learning and improving in many areas.
I can’t say I’m proud of anything yet, because I haven’t achieved the things I’ve been working towards. I sometimes give up before finishing a task, especially if it seems too difficult. I also often feel nervous or unsure when trying new things,/u>. I think there is always room for improvement, so I keep trying.
