As time goes by, I become more and more convinced that Information Technology is the only business sector that continues evolving at an incredible rate nowadays. Therefore I can't help thinking of retraining as an IT specialist.

Of course, I realise that it's easier said than done, but over the last several years I've heard a number of amazing success stories that prove that impossible is nothing. So I've decided that if one day I dare to make a career change, I'll become a game developer as I truly love playing computer games.

I've already made an action plan. First, I'll have to acquire profound knowledge in the field. Actually, it would be great if I could both study and work. Then I think I will seek internship at a reputable company to make my CV look impressive. After I get a degree and some relevant experience, I'll try to submit my CV to all the companies I'd like to work for. Also, there will be no harm becoming friends with people who will work at companies I'll be interested in. Well, that doesn't sound very fair, but this way chances that they'll let me know when a new vacancy opens up are rather high. I will definitely join LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook as I've heard those are the places where hiring professionals will go to check me. Besides, I'll try not to miss job fairs because they are still popular with employers. If I succeed, I'll be involved in producing games for PCs and game consoles day. I think, at first, I'll target entry level jobs such as a game tester. Later, I hope I'll perform duties of a programmer.

I believe if I become an IT specialist, I'll always be in high demand and have adequate remuneration.
