  • Children make friends at school in different ways. For example, they:
  • sit next to each other and start talking
  • play games together during breaks
  • help each other with homework or classwork
  • discover they like the same things (like cartoons, music, or sports)
  • join the same clubs or take part in school events
  • help each other with homework or classwork
  • share snacks or little things during breaks
  • work together on group projects and get to know each other
  • meet through other friends
  • laugh and joke together, which helps them feel closer
I think children make friends at school in really simple ways. They sit next to each other and start talking, and sometimes that’s all it takes. Many kids play games together during breaks, and that helps them get closer too. They often discover they like the same things... maybe the same music, cartoons, or hobbies. Some kids make friends when they help each other with homework or classwork. Others join the same clubs or take part in school events, so they spend more time together. Sharing snacks or little things during breaks also makes them feel connected. And of course, joking and laughing together is a big part of it… it creates a friendly vibe right away. So, honestly, it’s all about spending time together and finding small things in common.
