Absolutely... 'cause musical training has a lot of advantages. First of all, it helps develop language and reasoning as well as master a skill of memorization. It builds imagination and intellectual curiosity, develops spatial intelligence and promotes craftsmanship. Also, practicing with musical instruments can improve hand-eye coordination as well as help kids' self-confidence and self-discipline, so there is no doubt that learning to play a musical instrument can bring a lot of benefits to every child, many more benefits than developing a fun and relaxing hobby, to my mind.
