Well, definitely, some people are naturally better at persuading others, I think. They communicate clearly and know how to explain ideas in simple terms. This makes their message easy to follow. Another reason is that they listen carefully and respond to what people actually say. People feel heard, so they are more open to changing their minds. They sound confident, which makes others trust them more easily, even if the topic is new. They also adjust their tone depending on the situation. So yeah, my experience shows that persuasion comes more easily to some people.
No, I don’t think persuasion is something only certain people are good at. I’m more than sure that persuasion improves with practice and experience, just like any other skill. For example, people become more convincing after speaking in meetings or presentations. Also, people become more persuasive when they understand the topic well, because they feel more confident. This confidence comes from knowledge, not talent. Good communication skills develop through everyday interactions, not only special training. Over time, most people can learn how to influence others. So persuasion isn’t fixed, I think, it grows with effort and experience.
