I think children make friends outside school in lots of simple ways. They often start talking to kids who live nearby and slowly build trust... maybe while playing outside or riding bikes together. Some join games or activities and become part of a group, which helps them feel included. Others share hobbies at sports or dance classes and connect because they enjoy the same things. Many kids chat online while playing games and find people they click with... it feels easy and fun for them. At family gatherings, they talk to other kids and keep in touch afterwards, especially if they get along well. Younger ones start conversations at parks or playgrounds while playing together... it happens very naturally. Some bond through taking care of pets or walking dogs together, because animals make it easier to talk. And of course, they stay connected with friends of friends through messages or calls, so their circle keeps growing.
